TipLeaks ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account on TipLeaks, we collect your email address, username, and any profile information you choose to provide. When you make a payment, billing details are processed by our payment partners (Paystack and NOWPayments) and are not stored on our servers. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve the platform. If you contact us, we retain the contents of that communication.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve the TipLeaks platform, process your subscription, send you service-related communications, personalise your experience, and respond to your support requests. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers.
3. Cookies and Tracking
TipLeaks uses cookies to maintain your login session, remember your preferences (including light/dark mode), and analyse aggregate usage patterns. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the platform. We use no third-party advertising cookies.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform, including Supabase (database infrastructure), Paystack (card and mobile money payments), and NOWPayments (cryptocurrency payments). Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the platform.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days unless we are required to retain it by law. Signal history and aggregated analytics data may be retained in anonymised form.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. 7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database access controls, and access-limited service credentials. No system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of TipLeaks after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
